Clive joined the company in 2009 and worked his way up to Managing Director for Built Environment. He takes over from Mark Lawrence, who has stepped down from his position at the top of the company after 41 years. Mark hands over the company’ s target of reaching £ 1bn( US $ 1.3bn) in annual revenues to Clive.

Abu brings a wealth of industry experience to his new role, as well as a deep knowledge of Skanska’ s operations. He has worked in construction for 30 years, and at Skanska for more than half of that time. He has directed work across a wide range of sectors, from federal and commercial to transportation and manufacturing.
