National Construction Expo 2020

The National Construction Expo provides a platform to showcase the innovative technologies capable of delivering the sustainable buildings and infrastructure required to meet the needs of the UK ’ s growing population . Addressing the challenges of Industry 4.0 , the expo will analyse the impact and efficiency of BIM , sensors , data analytics and smart systems . It will also consider the array of offsite manufacturing technologies that can reduce waste and risk while speeding up the construction process and weigh up different approaches to energy generation and storage . The expo is also set to examine the whole life asset performance approach — focusing on the costs of a project across its lifecycle . Last year ’ s keynotes included insights from the likes of BAM Nuttall , Skanska , Willmott Dixon Construction and the University of Cambridge Centre for Industrial Sustainability .

construction industry , London ’ s Olympia will welcome 1,400 attendees for two days of development workshops and inspiring keynotes across 50 sessions . Built for women , by women , the summit will examine the disruption required to redefine the onsite experience , dismantle culture barriers and reposition the wellbeing agenda .
