BIM , Collaboration and the Cloud For Jasper , BIM is a technology with massive potential to change the way the industry delivers projects , but he stressed the need for investment in the correct tools to reap the full benefit , as BIM use dramatically increases the need for collaboration . He said : “ BIM is an industrywide trend , but it couples with the move to cloud-based services that is happening and also the move to deeper collaboration , so people think about how they manage their models and collaborate around them . An environment where everybody can access it really points to a cloudbased solution .
