Familiar to many as the Chairman of 2014 Champions League winners Real Madrid , Civil Engineer Pérez has served as Chairman and CEO of ACS Group since 1997 , when OCP merged with Gines y Navarro to create the new company . He is also a former Spanish Presidential candidate , having run for the Democratic Reform Party in 1986 .
