The Pompidou Centre is a real example of how to build with future adaptability . It has its own style – which I ’ ll admit takes some getting used to – but the building has certainly performed and delivered on flexibility . Each 7,500 sqm floor extends through the building entirely uninterrupted by load-bearing structures , meaning it can be divided up and reorganised at will for exhibitions or a myriad of other activities .
