Another technique is called Constructive Acceptance , which means accepting that which you cannot change and doing so graciously , not grudgingly . You find the positive in what appears negative . Then there ’ s Transcending the Environment , which means rising above physical issues . The new boss has an irritating habit of changing the day ’ s priorities , so nothing ever gets done . Squelch that irritation by recalling that your only job is to do well what you ’ re asked to do , and you ’ re not being asked to do anything you can ’ t do well .
